It's Beginning to Sound A Lot Like Christmas -

Tonight was Little Sheep's Preschool Christmas Program. B10 was happy about seeing kids singing, while CW was THRILLED with the idea of visiting his old teachers at his old school (not that the teachers are old...).

We drove out to where the Sheeps live and met Cookie and Doc for dinner. I like Moe's, but rarely eat it, so we decided that tacos and burritos would be a delightful meal. Hubby was going to meet us at the church, because he was coming straight from work (it's not a short drive all the way out to the church from downtown!).

The Caterpillars enjoyed dinner, especially the salsa. B10 tried a new flavor and thought it was tasty!

Then at the church we sat with Little Sheep's other set of grandparents, all eight of us in a row. I really like when I have a chance to talk to Little Sheep's Grandma and Grandpa. I've known them for years, and they are some of the nicest and kindest people you've ever met. Plus, she makes gorgeous quilts! Hubby and I were lucky enough to receive one when we got married!

It was sort of odd to see Little Sheep in the tiniest group, since last year at the Christmas Program CW was in the oldest group. It's even weirder to think about how many of these programs there will be in the future!

Afterwards, we all hung out for a few minutes. B10 and Little Sheep were playing a hide-and-seek game, while CW said hello to his Kindergarten teachers and many of his friends who had come back to see younger siblings in the program.

Then we headed back home. I'm so glad we live close enough to have at least some of these experiences!

Thanks for the video of Little Sheep! Even though he just stood there...at least he didn't try to get on the little stage with Mary & Joseph like in practice! (To be fair the little boy who played Joseph has his name too...so, I think he was just following directions!:)
