Sleigh Bells Ring, Are You Listening?

Tonight we were able to spend time as a family one one of the few yearly traditions we have. Driving around looking at Christmas lights!

The Caterpillars took nice warm baths and put on pajamas with their footsie suits on top. We loaded up with pillows, blankets and stuffed animals in tow - and drove straight to Kroger.

While Hubby filled up at the gas station, I went inside and bought each of the Caterpillars a hot chocolate from Starbucks (and a decaf coffee for Hubby). They have these adorable kid's side hot cups - which perfectly fit the amount of hot chocolate that came in the kid's sized regular cups.

They loved the new cups!

The drive was lovely, it's pretty cold here, below freezing, but we all stayed warm and even got a few pictures of our favorite houses.

The last one is our very favorite - mostly because of who lives inside! BooSheep and Hubby Sheep came out to say "hello", bringing each Caterpillar a popcorn ball to munch on for snack.

CW had fallen asleep (very quickly), but woke up long enough to say "thank you."

B10 didn't fall asleep until we were on our way home. He managed to pretty much stay asleep as we helped him into the house and into bed.

CW, on the other hand, woke up when we got home (after a 3 hour nap) and now can't seem to feel "tired" enough to go back to bed. He's being quite the chatterbox, sitting beside me on the bed, as we write this post together and watch Science Channel (there's a Georgia Tech/Retired Air Force Col talking about the lost H-Bomb off Tybee Island).

I love this part of the season!
