2 Caterpillars + 4 Garden Girls + 2 Happy Ones
= Delighted Cousins
Tonight we had Hubby's brothers, their families and his parents over for dinner and delightful company. This was the third night in a row we've had company, which has made it our best holiday season ever. We've been able to spend so much time with family and friends!
There was lots food and opening of gifts. B10 and CW each received Legos (which is, as most of you readers know, a huge hit in our house), they got a huge cool cooking set (I have yet to have one hour pass that did not include the words "can we bake muffins" - I may break down tomorrow), B10 is raring to make his new "glow-in-the-dark geode" and CW is (still) beside himself with the new real tool set that he now owns.
The Garden Family ended up staying a bit later than the rest, poor Uncle Firefighter had to work in the morning - so they headed back on the two hour drive early enough to get a good nights sleep.
We let the Caterpillars and the Garden Girls continue to play, until they fell asleep by themselves. B10 and Princess Flower on the bed was the funniest!
Poor CW came out of his bedroom at 2:39 am and explained to us very clearly that everyone was asleep - and he was bored. Apparently going to bed didn't seem like a viable option...
It was great fun and worked out so well. I hope we are able to do it again next year (or even some time in-between).

I love the picture of all the kids laughing...to cute! I am glad you guys had such a good time :)
It was a blast! The boys reaction to the legos is still my favorite part of the whole night.
