Today Granddaddy went to work, so Minnie Mouse and I talked about what we wanted to do this morning. We decided to take the Caterpillars to the local children's museum: Boonshoft Museum of Discovery.

The first thing we did was watch a "Space Theatre" show. It was interesting, not the best - but it seemed to Minnie Mouse and I as if it were his first day on the job.

The special exhibit is about Dragons - which the Caterpillars ADORED.

There was an evil dragon side -

And a good dragon side -

My favorite was the dragon-sized Emory board and Oral-D toothbrush. (Even dragons need good hygiene!)
There was a beautiful touch pool and B10 was able to touch an actual sea anemone.
The hands on sections were awesome. CW found a bulldozer and B10 (no surprisingly) found an entire vet's office to play in.

B10 also was excited when he found a scout uniform, with the Ohio patch.

There was also a beautiful treehouse that the Caterpillars enjoyed.

Before we left we had to stop at the otters, Shiloh and Sushi. It was their feeding time, and while I couldn't get any great pictures - it was one of my favorite parts!

We headed home (where the Caterpillars played more board games and read their books) and after going out to a wonderful Italian restaurant for dinner, they all piled on the sofa with Granddaddy to watch So You Think You Can Dance.
I had to wrap them like burritos to keep them still by the end of the show!
Then B10 and CW headed to bed, while GO and I prepared to ride with Granddaddy to pick up Hubby from the airport. Traffic was crazy because of construction, but we got him home safe and sound a little before 1 a.m.

And having the whole family together for vacation made Wednesday the best day so far!

The museum looks really neat. I love the otters!! I missed seeing them in TN. The treehouse looked cool. Dragons seems like the perfect exhibit for the boys. I am glad they had such a good time.
