Anyone who has read this blog for any length of time could likely make a very educated guess as to what B10 would be holding in his hands when he runs into the house and yells: "Mum, look what I found outside!"
If you guessed a lizard, you would be very wrong today. This was in my bedroom.

Now, I'm not scared of snakes. Plus, it's obviously non-venomous (you can tell by the pupils of it's eyes).

However, it's not what I wanted in my bedroom.
Not to mention, it's not a tiny snake! It was over two feet long.

He's been instructed to keep it outside next time. The last thing I need is for one of those to get loose in my house...

I actually like snakes - - - that is a very debonair one, I might add.
The head is not spade-shaped, that is also an indication it is not poisonous.
Looks like a Green Garter to me - - - at least what I can see of it.
Snakes are our FRIENDS - - - they eat small rodents.
