Consider this a personal note to the following uncles: Uncle Firefighter, Uncle SheepFirefighter, Uncle LT, Uncle Roommate - Hubby and GO lay claim to the new Darius Rucker song for their Father/Daughter dance at her wedding.
If you're a daddy to a little girl (or a mummy who has a little girl) and you haven't heard the song, I would encourage you to immediately go online to iTunes and download "It Won't Be Like This For Long" from Darius Rucker's country album - "Learn to Live". (It's also on his MySpace page...)
Then I challenge you not to cry.
Being a teenager in the 1990's meant that I heard plenty of Hootie and the Blowfish. It's a bit of a time warp to be hearing him in a totally different genre now!
