Today I Accomplished Something!

I don't always accomplish what I set out to do at the beginning of the day, but I did this morning.

My pantry (which is beautiful) hasn't been cleaned out since we moved in and fixed it up. We put resturant grade tile on the floor, painted the walls and even put in a new light fixture.

About eight months ago, Hubby bought a deep freezer for the pantry. We use it constantly, but things were just getting shoved into the room and it was hard to find what we needed.

I've been stressed out about it for months and months. So today, I decided to clean and organize!

GO sat so nicely in her rocking chair.

Isn't the finished product beautiful!

FlyLady - Day 2

Today, my goal is to keep my kitchen sink clean and when I woke to get dressed.

I LOVE my sleep pants. I must own 10-15 different pairs. But today, I woke up and actually put on real clothes immediately. FlyLady insists on also putting on shoes, but I draw the line there. I really, REALLY, R-E-A-L-L-Y cannot stand wearing shoes in a house. I feel icky when I do it in someone elses home.

So there I was, dressed, when I went to get B10 and CW up.
You can tell how often this happens, because CW asked "where are we going?"

Babysteps to big changes! (You can tell by the background in my picture why I'm so eager to Fly again...)

Quite a few years ago I did something called "FlyLady".

At the time I was a SAHM and she really helped me declutter and clean my house. More importantly, she is a tool in learning to "Fly"..."Finally Loving Yourself".

So today, I've decided to start all over with her. I'll be doing babysteps - which start with shining my kitchen sink.

That's right, today my goal was to clean my kitchen sink before going to bed.

And today, I met my goal. I can't say I'll do it each and every day, but I'm going to try.
