Car Show at Church

Our church has a car show every year, put on by the Men's Ministry, to raise money for the KidzLife program. We headed out their early, to take in the cars (and trucks, and VWs, and other assorted vehicles).I was surprised by how much B10 and CW enjoyed looking at the cars. I knew Hubby would like it!

GO basically rode in her stroller, until we got to the children's area. Then we let her bounce with her brothers in the bounce-house.




Hubby and I got everyone lunch from the Texas Roadhouse Truck - then we sat outside to eat.
B10 and CW sat inside and listened to the excellent music.
As we left, we took photos with our favorite cars.
We are already talking about next year! I'll have to look for more car shows to take the Caterpillars to!

Luna Moth

The Pastor's Wife at the church we are visiting found a giant Luna Moth and found a jar for B10 to take it home in.

It's just one reason on our long list of reasons that we'll be seriously considering this as our new church home.

GO's Beth Hadid

This weekend we held GO's Beth Hadid Ceremony.  Her baby dedication was during the 11 am service on Sunday, so Saturday evening we had our family and a few friends over to celebrate GO's life and the joy she has brought to our home.

We have a delicious spread - GO's Godmother (her Mimi) flew in from Maryland/DC to help me with the food.

We had a few things from Publix...they have the best bakery around for cakes.  Plus we ordered wraps (the extras would serve as Hubby's lunch for a week).

Lots of fruits and veggies rounded out the tables, and homemade deviled eggs (mostly for Uncle Sheep).


Baby Sheep (who, as most of my readers remember shares a birthday with GO) was there with her whole family.  I loved this picture, because the two of them are so alert and ready to walk, but the difference in size is huge!

I just love their little toes!

Mere came also, and she held GO (who communicated with Sprout - the baby due in January, and who will be GO's playmate next year).

So many people came to join us.  Thank you to all our guests at the Beth Hadid and to the family members that attended the baby dedication on Sunday.

It means so much to us that you would share our special day and write letters for GO to open on her 18th birthday and truly experience our blessing with our family.

Church Blast-Off

Our Church had their "Blast-Off" for the Wednesday Night Activities tonight. Both Caterpillars made rockets to have shot into the air.

CW went first and LOVED seeing his rocket shoot across the field and towards some people. (Luckily, no one was injured.) B10's went up into the air, and I caught the really cool photo of it with an airplane. (One of those - totally random but awesome - shots.)

The Bubble-Man was out, letting everyone play with huge and tiny bubble wands.

Plus, there was juice and ice-pops to go around. GO hung out with Cookie and watched the commotion. It's hard to imagine she'll be in the middle of it next year!
